The Canadian Society for Traditional Music (CSTM-SCTM) is delighted to have found a new institutional home with The Centre for Sound Communities at Cape Breton University. Having had its operations divided in various places over the years, the CSTM-SCTM recognizes the opportunities a CSC partnership provides in stabilizing operations through staff and logistical support. Just as much, we welcome the synergy of common values. The CSC, like the Canadian Society for Traditional Music, has its ear to the ground. We are delighted to join this spirited institution in listening to music academics, students, communities, and practitioners alike.
