ICTMD Gathering in Istanbul

The Centre for Sound Communities is proud to work with MiRAS Centre for Cultural Sustainability on a gathering under the flag of the International Council for Traditions of Music and Dance (ICTMD) in Istanbul, 23-27 October 2024. The program will include lectures, workshops, and performances around the role of applied ethnomusicology in restoring a sense of wellbeing, community, and connection to place after natural and manmade disasters.
