Humberto Piccoli

 

Humberto Piccoli, an ethnomusicology Ph.D. student at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador, brings his musical background and academic pursuits to The Centre for Sound Communities. A seasoned guitarist and songwriter, Humberto’s experience includes performances with renowned artists.
At the CSC, he contributes to various projects by editing videos, and assisting with bibliography research, ethics reviews, and lectures. His latest works include lecture support for the Festival of Ukrainian Heritage, video editing for the Black Musics & Histories in Unama’ki event, and supporting CSC’s collaboration with Smithsonian Folkways Recordings’ project Learning Pathways.
